Aluminum, due to its excellent production and processing performance, good weather resistance, heavy metal material sensitivity, strong fire resistance, strong stain resistance, and strong applicability, is becoming increasingly crucial in the insulation and thermal insulation industry. Especially in the insulation pipelines of power plants and pharmaceutical plants, aluminum has gradually replaced other commodities as a raw material.
Aluminum skin thermal insulation construction method:
- Cut the aluminum sheet according to the specifications; Roll the cut aluminum sheet into a cylindrical shape using a rounding machine;
- Use a edging machine to roll one side of the lap joint of the aluminum sheet's circumferential reinforcement into a convex edge, and the other side into a concave groove;
- Cover the produced and processed aluminum sheet on the top of the elbow where the thermal insulation bucket has been installed, and use ST4 * 10 self tapping screws to fix the longitudinal seam steel bar overlap in place. The double-layer aluminum sheet at the joint of the self tapping screws is fixed in place, with an interval of 250-300mm and evenly distributed;
- Bends with installed aluminum skin protective layer should meet the following requirements: the protective layer of the bend should be close to the insulation layer and have no gaps; The overlap capacity of longitudinal seam steel bars in the protective layer aluminum sheet is 30-50 millimeters; The side that is rolled into a convex rib surrounds the outside and has no gaps with the concave groove; The protective layer on both sides and edges of the bent pipe should be tied with stainless steel strips, and the steel clips should be detained at the longitudinal joints. Silicone rubber should be used to seal the joints of the protective layer.
Regulations on the construction process of aluminum skin thermal insulation:
- Cut the insulation steel pipe into a "shrimp waist" shape based on the bending level of the bent pipe;
- Cover the well made "shrimp skin waist style" bend pipe with the bend pipe pipeline;
- Use fine stainless steel wire to tie the insulation steel pipe firmly, with no less than 3 binding passes and an interval of ≤ 300mm;
- Ensure that the inner cavity of the insulated steel pipe is close to the bent pipe, and that the insulation layer and longitudinal seam of the bent pipe are dense and have no gaps;
- Add ground waterproofing outside the insulation layer and carry out protective layer construction after completing all tasks.
